Spring Break Camp – Power Up

You have the power! Literally. In this week, campers discover where our world’s energy comes from, experiment with potential and kinetic energy, and transform that energy into usable electricity by building their own circuits, turbines, electromagnets, solar cars, and more!

Sample Projects

Propeller Car

Campers make a toy car that uses a propeller and the power of the wind to make it go. They’ll never need batteries again!

Campers use a limited number of materials to construct a waterwheel to see how much weight can be lifted using the power of water.

Campers work together to create their very own working generator that will produce enough electricity to make a buzzer buzz and a light bulb light up!
