Museum of Craft & Design
The California Academy of Sciences mission is to explore, explain and protect the natural world. This mission extends to all corners of the institution; from a research expedition in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, to a teacher training program in a California classroom, to an interactive game on the museum exhibit floor. The California Academy of Sciences designs the hands-on activities for the natural science week at CAMP EDMO and trains all CAMP EDMO Science Instructors on how to lead the activities.Become a member of the California Academy of Sciences
The Children’s Creativity Museum’s mission is to nurture the 3C’s of 21st-century skills – Creativity, Collaboration and Communication – in all youth and families. The museum transforms the way kids learn, moving from the conventional approach of play to one of invention. This encourages kids to imagine, create and share. The Children’s Creativity Museum also offers programs for educators and parents who play a critical role in lifelong learning and creativity. The Children’s Creativity Museum aids in the design and Instructor training of our weekly Animation camp sessions.Become a member of the Children’s Creativity Museum
Kimochi (KEY.MO.CHEE) means “feeling” in Japanese. When kids can communicate their feelings effectively, they develop positive social and emotional skills that lead to lasting friendships and success in academics and all aspects of life. Kimochis…Toys With Feelings Inside® are playful tools that can help children identify and express feelings; solve behavioral problems; communicate openly; resolve conflicts; and create closer connections. Kimochis trains our staff to play games that use Kimochis to build up children’s emotional intelligence.Learn more about Kimochis here

KIDmob believes unlocking the creative capacity in every person is key to solving today’s real and relevant challenges. Every day, they work with kids and adults to help them think differently about problem solving. They show up, they ask questions, they challenge ideas, and then they step back and watch as creative solutions rise from the community. Because when they do, they activate the skills needed for success in our quickly evolving world.
KIDmob has worked across the US and internationally, including in Haiti and the Philippines, with kids of all ages. Their partners have included Autodesk, eBay, Brown University, and UNICEF, and their work has been featured in publications including Fast Company, The Atlantic, The Guardian, and Upworthy.
