YouTube Star
Grades: 5 - 8

Take your first steps towards cyber stardom!  In YouTube Star, campers will learn about and practice the entire process of developing and maintaining a YouTube channel.  Working in pairs, campers will first get to decide on the subject, format and style of their channel. Campers will then record both real-world and screen-captured footage, edit their videos to add music and special effects, and finally upload their creations to YouTube. Be a star and learn how to create awesome videos and share your passions at EDMO Pro’s YouTube Star camp!

21st Century & SEL Skill Focus: Creativity, Initiative, Collaboration, Communication, Empathy, Problem Solving, Responsibility.  Learn more about other skills we build through The EDMO Method™.

Fun Fact. In 2018, there was a 30% increase in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills developed for those who attended two weeks of Camp EDMO™ and a 39% increase for returning EDMO™ families over new families!

Please note that campers work in pairs or teams and share computers. This allows for a more collaborative process, as well as more comprehensive and innovative projects. Plus, it’s more fun!
