Smart Art

Grades: 1st-2nd & 3rd-4th

All Programs

Ingeniously unique masterpieces created here! Using an array of artists as inspiration for styles and techniques, campers will experiment with different mediums of visual art. As campers create collages, paintings, dyes, and drawings, they will highlight the scientific and mathematical side of art production through discussions of pattern, color and perspective. By the end of the week, both the left and right sides of campers’ brains will be tickled pink!

This theme may be run in a park or out of an indoor facility, with walking excursions on the property or in the surrounding area. This nature theme also has a Guest Presenter at the site each week. Take a look at our sample presenter schedule for Summer 2020.
