EDMO’s goal is to reduce the barriers for ALL children and schools to access high-quality STEAM and SEL summer camps and school year programs so that we can help raise the curious, courageous and kind humans this world needs. See our EDMO Philosophy page for the science behind our work. As a non-profit organization, we cannot fulfill this mission without philanthropic support from Foundations, Corporations and Individual Donors like you.
This year, our goal is to raise $50,000 from individual donors and $150,000 from districts and foundations to help us launch two new EDMO® Partially & Fully-Funded Camps in Summer 2020.
Make Equity Focused Camps Reality. Donate Today!
EDMO® partners with schools districts that serve under resourced communities to thoughtfully apply their federal funding to fund free or heavily subsidized EDMO Partially & Fully-Funded Camps. These camps are at Title 1 schools in neighborhoods that experience high rates of crime, poverty and addiction. On top of traditional camp features, our Partially & Fully-Funded Camps include:
- Free or almost free fees
- Credentialed (SEL & STEAM) Coaches
- Staff recruited from the community
- Modifications for kids reading below grade-level
- Trauma informed staff training
- Bilingual staff, materials and leadership
- Weekly Parent Education Workshops
When you join one of our giving circles, you enable us to spark an entire classroom’s curiosity, build a child’s confidence, or teach the true meaning of kindness. Any support will make a difference in our efforts to prepare children to be the makers, shakers and amazinators of tomorrow! Your donation may be tax-deductible (based on your tax situation) and is 1,000% appreciated!

Double Your Donation
Want to double your impact? Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donation made by employees to eligible non-profit organizations.
Finding out if your employer offers a matching program and requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process which must be initiated by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.
Matching gifts will enliven our fundraising efforts with new momentum. Won’t it be exciting to see your gift multiply?
