Camp Director

Hannah Hoagland Hannah Hoagland
Hannah Hoagland

Hannah has been working in the education field since high school, working with students ages 0-18. She received her BA in Early Childhood Studies in 2018 from Sonoma State University and is currently attending San Jose State working on her credentials to teach as well as her Master’s degree in Education. While away at SSU for college undergrad, Hannah worked as a preschool teacher at the SSU Children’s School which is where her passion for education really grew and she realized what her purpose in life was: to inspire inquisitiveness and creativity through learning. While this will be her first Summer with Camp EDMO, she is no stranger to summer camp! Previously, Hannah worked at the Youth Science Institute as an Adjunct Instructor for their year round school programs but also as a camp Lead Instructor for many years and one year as Volunteer Coordinator. Hannah values being a lifelong learner as well as being a huge advocate for creativity, as she enjoys painting in her free time. Hannah is excited for her new journey at camp EDMO this summer as the San Jose site Director!

Los Gatos Park:

“Warm welcomes to all EDMO families and campers! I am absolutely thrilled to be the Camp Director for the San Jose site this Summer, and I can’t wait to meet all of you! I’m in the business of creating meaningful relationships through learning all while having fun, so I feel very privileged to have this opportunity through Camp EDMO. Here’s to an amazing Summer where we all learn lots and grow as people!” – Hannah Hoagland, San Jose Camp Director
