He is delighted to be instructing the next generation of image-makers and art lovers.

Virena is excited for her first summer at CAMP EDMO as a Science & Maker Instructor! She has just completed her bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley in Business Administration with a concentration in Global Management. Virena is passionate about youth education, and has worked with students of all ages in several different capacities; as a camp counselor, tutor, and mentor! In her spare time, she loves reading, hiking, baking, and exploring new places!

Bryana is an undergraduate student at Loyola Marymount University located in Los Angeles with a major in Political Science. She plans to take her studies to law school one day but in the mean time is very excited to become a part of the CAMP EDMO Palo Alto family! Her hobbies include reading, singing, watching movies, and going outside to have fun! Bryana has worked with kids as a tutor and mentor and cannot wait to contribute to the amazing experience everyone will have at CAMP EDMO!

John was born in Chicago, and raised in Florida for 21 years. He has been living in California for about a year and a half and has enjoyed it a lot! His love for video games, live action movies and animated movies is what drove him to pursue a career in the CG industry. He received a degree in Computer Animation and has worked as a free lance 3D artist and IT Technician. Although this will be his first camp experience, he has worked with children for many years as a babysitter. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and camping! He is excited to start working at CAMP EDMO and sharing his love of technology with the campers!!

Julia can’t wait to start her summer as an EDMO Jr Camp Counselor! Last summer, as an EDMO CIT, Julia had so much fun, she just had to come back again this year! Julia’s passions are working with and having fun with kids, singing, and playing tennis. She is the assistant coach for her school’s Junior High Tennis Team, volunteers weekly as a tutor for Reading Partners, sings in two choirs, and finds excitement and joy in each and every day!

Julia is absolutely ecstatic for her first summer with CAMP EDMO as a counselor. She is a recent graduate from Chapman University where she received her bachelor of arts in Peace & Conflict Studies. She cannot wait to get started this summer with EDMO!

Having worked with kids ever since he was just entering high school, Kevin refuses to miss any opportunity to meet new campers and spread his passion of trying new activities. Snowboarding, playing guitar and hitting tennis are just a few of the many things that he has picked up over the years. As a young child, Kevin loved to create art, whether it be drawing, photography, or film. Twelve years later, he cannot wait to attend the University of Southern California to study Film Production. In addition to exploring the artistic world, Kevin also delved into the field of computer science and studied programming for three years in high school. With his combined enthusiasm for creativity and technology, Kevin could not feel more at home working in the inspiring environment at EDMO!
